About Ultherapy for men
When your skin is not as toned as you'd like, Chiseled can help to address your skin's laxity with Ultherapy, a noninvasive intervention for loose skin on the face, chest, and neck. Approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Ultherapy's energy from ultrasound waves can hep to increase the firmness of your skin in a 30 – 90-minute treatment. After your appointment and as the treated skin heals, your body goes into a natural collagen production mode to strengthen the skin. Skilled dermatologist Dr. Melissa Chiang and plastic surgeon Dr. Younghoon Cho are pleased to offer Ultherapy to Spring, TX patients. This treatment may be performed alongside other rejuvenating skin treatments, like an injectable or laser skin resurfacing, to leave your skin looking softer and younger.
Ultherapy® Reviews
Candidates for ultherapy
If you've noticed that your facial skin has become laxer with mild to moderate wrinkles (near the brow, eyes, or mouth) or if you've developed a slight jowl droop, then you might be an ideal candidate for Ultherapy. If you have severe sagging or deeper lines and wrinkles, a surgical facelift may be a better option for you. During your initial consultation, Dr. Chiang or Dr. Cho will take their time to understand your cosmetic concerns so they can develop a custom treatment plan that suits your needs.
Ultherapy Treatment
When you get to our office, we'll ask you to relax in one of our private treatment rooms where one of our seasoned aestheticians will prepare your skin, which may include applying a local anesthetic. For the procedure, we'll pass a handpiece that uses ultrasound energy waves across your skin. Based on how many areas you need treated, your procedure could take around 30 minutes per target area. After your session, your skin may appear somewhat pink and irritated, but this is normal. We typically recommend that patients take nonprescription pain relievers to help reduce any discomfort and inflammation.
after your appointment
Once your appointment is complete, you're free to return to your usual routine, as there is no required recovery time associated with Ultherapy. It's important to have proper expectations and to understand that this procedure does not yield immediate results. It will take some time for the treated skin to heal and adjust after your session. With the increase in collagen production, the treated skin should tighten in about 6 – 8 months. Typically, we recommend multiple treatments to attain optimal results.
